Pages are shown as a grid of thumbnails and dragging one moves it. An outline shows where it will land before you let go, and dragging towards the top or bottom of the grid scrolls it, which is what makes moving page 3 to page 280 possible at all.
The reorder is the document: what you see, left to right and top to bottom, is what gets written. Pages can also be duplicated if you need one to appear twice, and a page dragged out of one file into the middle of another works the same way.
Pages carry their identity rather than their position, so one you have already rotated stays rotated when it moves, and a duplicate can sit anywhere without disturbing the original. Page numbers, if you add them, are applied last and follow the final order rather than the one the pages arrived in.

Questions
How do I move a page a long way through a big document?
Start dragging and hold the pointer near the top or bottom edge of the grid — it scrolls while you drag, faster the closer you get to the edge.
Can I reverse a whole document?
Not in one click. Reversing by hand is fair for a few pages; for a long document it is faster to say so and have it added than to drag two hundred cards.
Does reordering re-encode the pages?
No. Pages are copied into a new document in the order you set, so text, fonts and images arrive exactly as they were.
